MCS Engenharia - Test and Quality Engineer - Barueri / SP

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
The Test and Quality Engineer will be responsible for sustaining and expanding hardware and software of existing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Process Automation Equipment as well for the development of new ATEs when required. 

The professional will also be responsible for product quality control and quality management system reporting to the Plant Manager. He will drive specific projects to improve quality through the application of quality tools, resolution of problems or failures that involve risks to product quality and process such as causal analysis, Problem solving, ishikawa, 8D. 

Products include electronics related to the control of motors, and higher level assemblies (e.g., motors with transmission components, motors packaged with controlling electronics). The person will be part of Test Engineering team, a group of skilled and capable engineers that work closely together to complete projects and to continuously move the group’s processes and practices forward. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned. 

• Sustain existing ATEs operating in company factories used in cells producing and its assemblies.
• Design, install, and validate electrical control hardware to execute automated tests and automated manufacturing processes to be deployed worldwide.
• Work with global manufacturing facilities to maintain congruency between equipment and software across sites; coordinate Engineering Change Orders
• Create test plans and strategies to ensure the highest quality end products accordance with project scope and delivery dates.
• Write test sequences in National Instruments LabView and National Instruments Test Stand.
• Participate in the development and continuous improvement of Test Engineering standard work and best practices.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide test engineering input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and test requirements

Qualifications 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related
• Proven track record in the design and deployment of automated test and process equipment.
• Work experience in Test Engineering required.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese is a must
• Desirable experience in quality management systems and project management
• Experience with electric motors and/or rotating machinery is preferred.
• NI LabVIEW experience highly desirable; C++ or VB desirable
• Available for Business travel when required.
